FULL DISCLOSURE: I made the video up there as a tribute to my favorite Angel, Ines Jolina Sambucini, who passed away not long before Covid. She was my first real kiss at 11 and we remained life long friends, only getting closer over the years. We had a lot of dreams, but we both had a lot of demons. I wasn’t totally sober when she died, but her addiction sealed her fate. She still had so much light in her.. I can’t explain why I got on drugs to make the tribute real, other than by saying because she was nothing less than that. Nothing less than ‘Imperfectly Perfect.’ When I made this video, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it through Covid. After years of working in labor I couldn’t fathom getting back into my art. Believed I missed my window and all my dreams were too far out of reach. Just like she did at the end.
